For me, digital design is
another form of staging.
From artist to
digital designer.
My work as a digital designer did not begin at a computer. It began on stage.
Years of working in dance, theatre and performance shaped the way I see space, the body, light, rhythm and staging. Photography added an engagement with the individual image – with the moment in which an artistic personality becomes visible without needing to be explained.
For me, the path to digital design was therefore less a change of profession than an extension of my artistic practice.
Today I combine these experiences with the possibilities of digital design. In working with artists in particular, I am interested not only in what should be shown, but in how an artistic identity can become visible.
I know this question from my own experience: How can a person and their work be represented without reducing them to a conventional form, a category or a product?
My work therefore emerges through dialogue. Design, photography, typography, movement and digital technology do not serve a predetermined style, but the person and their artistic language.
For me, digital design is another form of staging.
Different works
need different spaces.
DIGITAL
STAGE
Movement · Image · Space · Time
The stage does not end
at the edge of the screen.
ARTISTIC
IDENTITY
Identity · Photography · Web Design
Not every artist needs the same image.
Not every work needs the same space.
DIGITAL
EXHIBITION
Photography · Image · Interaction
The screen can become an exhibition space –
not merely a surface on which something is shown.
INFORMATION
& STRUCTURE
Identity · Information · Web Design
Clarity does not have to
mean neutrality.
Design begins with seeing.
